  Dr. Margaret Meier Jones, DVM CVSMT   

     Dr. Margaret grew up in Mondovi on a dairy farm just south of town, graduating from Gilmanton High School in 1988.  She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry approved by the American Chemical Society from the University of Wisconsin--River Falls in 1992, and graduated in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.  In November 2005 she was awarded her post-doctorate certificate in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative therapy from The Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Wisconsin.  In December 2007, she was certified in Animal Chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, and in 2011 she was also certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. In 2015, Dr. Margaret was in the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society courses and successfully passed.
     Dr. Margaret first practice in Wisconsin Dells at the Dells Animal Hospital, where she was one of five veterinarians.  In the fall of 1999, she accepted the position of small animal veterinarian at the Buffalo Valley Veterinary Center, and in October, 2001, she founded Animal Wellness Center of Buffalo Valley.  She was instrumental in developing our state of the art facility which is located in Mondovi's industrial park.  
     Dr. Margaret currently resides in her family's 100 year family farmhouse with her daughter, Emilia and her husband, Ron; their dog, Quinn; their two cats, Tonya and Jassman; and their horses, Big Red, Marcus, and Rubic's Cube.  Dr. Margaret enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside, and reading. ​

Bailee Miller, CVT

Bailee is our lead Veterinary Technician. She passed her National Vet Tech Exam in August and graduated from Globe University with an Associates in Applied Science degree in September of 2012. She enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and 4-wheeling. She also loves spending time with her dogs Nova, Jetta, and her cats, Arlo and Bobby.

Katlyn Garlie, Receptionist/Office Assistant

​Katlyn is our Office Assistant/Receptionist who joined our team in February 2015. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2011. Katlyn is an avid animal lover and has four cats: Amelia, Stu, Jonesy, and Harvey and her dog, Ted. She has a passion for felines and helping others better understand cat's environmental and behavioral needs in the home. When she's not tending to her critters at home or work, she enjoys playing video games, napping, watching movies, and putting together puzzles.

Heidi Wisniewski, CVT & Groomer

Heidi is our current groomer on staff and certified vet tech. She enjoys camping, spending time with her family, and rescuing animals of all kinds. She's been a certified nurse for 7 years and has been working in the veterinary field for 15 years!
